Banabatau started in 2017 with a small team and one clear idea: build things properly, treat people well, and let the work speak for itself. That has not changed.

Where are we?

Today we run projects out of Pretoria and Somerset West. Commercial builds, full renovations, interior fit-outs. The scope has grown, but the standard stays the same: every client is a partner, every project gets our best.

Is Banabatau Projects CIDB registered?

Yes. Banabatau is a CIDB-registered general contractor and NHBRC enrolled. Both registrations are verifiable on the public South African construction registers, and we list our credentials on every quote.

Where are you based and which areas do you serve?

Two offices: head office in Pretoria (Menlyn Maine) and a Somerset West office (Somerset Links Office Park). We deliver across South Africa, with primary delivery hubs in Gauteng and the Western Cape.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Commercial construction and renovations across offices, malls, food retail, educational institutions, shopping centres, government facilities, and student accommodation. Full residential renovations and extensions where the scope is significant. We do not take on small private handyman or general maintenance work.

Are you insured?

Yes. Full insurance cover for principal-contractor work, including contractors all-risk and public liability. Insurance certificates are provided with every contract.
